No. Phil Ivey never lied.

To respond to other comments, I certainly don't disapprove of all advantage play. However, the play in question, to me, falls in the grey area between advantage play and cheating. I would compare this to making a vague gesture in blackjack, deliberately, and lying about your intent if how the dealer interpreted the gesture went against you.

The same code of ethics applies to casinos as well. I could list plenty of things they have done that range from a morally grey area to blatant cheating.

It is not that one side is good and one is bad, but good and bad exist on both sides. The "bad" on both sides should be exposed to the light of day.
