$1.00 Casino Chip

A retired lady named Sandy Marbs living on social security decided to auction off some items on ebay. Sandy decided to list a $1.00 showboat casino chip she kept as a menento from her honeymoon in 1961. She started the bid at $2.25. The auction ended with a final price of $28,988.88.

I found an article from last year that talked about this, but the MOGH catalog shows the chip and says that the sale took place on 5/4/08.
