Can't flag stuff in the "Free Speech Zone." IMO this restriction should be removed. Do we really foresee problems with people flagging something they disagree with in the free speech zone? At the time I first saw it, there were about 6 of these posts, in areas where they COULD be flagged. Only three of those threads disappeared when I flagged it. It never filled the purpose I envisioned when we set up the site. It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet. |

Did you see it yesterday? I'm thinking you might not have. But if that's the case, then without the one remaining spam post here in the FSZ, and subsequent comments, you might not have been prompted to shut his account (thanks for that, by the way). Instead, chat about ways to limit a new member's capabilities, but in a manner that doesn't hurt a legitimate new member, while crippling a spammer.
