Resurrecting this thread because my wife & I got the same thing: wandered into Wynn during our last visit and signed up for a Red Card. I've been getting offers of 2 free non-weekend nights + $150 in slot credits; $129/nt (midweek) to extend visit. We're going to take them up on it this May: we usually go to Venetian/Palazzo for our May trip (wedding anniversary, we were married at Venetian) but we're going to try Wynn this time (partly to register our displeasure with V/P's new comp policies by taking our money elsewhere, 1st time in 9 years).

I intend to take them up on it this summer.
Our offer was:

$ 99 per night, Sun - Thur

$150 Free play if you stay 3 nights

We did use this offer last summer, Aug 2010.

But because the paytables we saw for VP were
not very good, we played there VERY little.

I don't know why they wouldn't put in a few
decent VP machines. Most of the tourists
wouldn't know or care.

Anyway, we haven't gotten any offers since,
so I give their marketing dept some credit
for figuring out we weren't the clientele
they were looking for.
Now you swear and kick and beg us That you're not a gamblin' man Then you find you're back in Vegas With a handle in your hand

How bad is their VP?

I got a player card and used the $10 free play it came with on VP. I figured bad VP beats the best slots. I think I played ten or five hand DW at 0.25. I left when I had $30 (see?) and blew that on Rock and Roll dice (I know, bad move).

I guess for the same reason every other Strip casino doesn't: you'd draw APs eventually. What's the return value on free drinks at the Wynn?
