Closing noon today 'Vegas time" I assume. When they have the auction, why don't one you Vegas locals go grab me a deal on a BJ table. We can work out the details later ;-)
And should take a couple of months to be prepared for 'demolition', someone's probably bidding on the option of going in and ripping out all of the copper piping, among other things. When all that turmoil is over, then the demo guys start rigging the explosives to bring the mutha down. You think casinos have security when open? Just wait till they are rigged with high explosives all over the place, in today's sad world....2F
Youuuuuu MIGHT be a 'rascal' if.......(nevermind ;-)...2F

Did the convention center get the SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center 2989 Paradise Rd Las Vegas, NV 89109 behind the riviera as well?

Marriot had plans to develop their property near the convention center into a giant hotel (and possibly a casino). With the renewed activity between Resorts World and Packer on the north end, I wonder if they are relooking at the project?

I understand the Debbie Reynolds Paddlewheel hotel was demolished as well.

The Springhill and Marriott hotels are not a part of this deal. They are separate parcels. One is on the wrong side of Convention Center Dr.

I was there when it closed covering the story. Many people were still playing slots after they asked everyone to leave. It took them until about 12:30pm to get everyone out of there.
