Boy can I relate. Bring my dad to the casino, doesn't really like to gamble but played VP for a free drink. Orders a southern comfort old fashioned, gets his drink, in the meantime wins 250 for 4 dueces wild. I say aren't you going to leave a tip? He say's what for, drinks are free in vegas.

There is probably alot to be said for these "cheap gambling" places such as Jokers Wild or Club Fortune.

When there is no pretense people get more relaxed. And life is uncomplicated. There are no delays for computer systems to reflect your accumulated points, there are not going to be any lines or atleast not any long lines for anything. The food will not be some fancy dish they've never heard of. The only French on the menu will refer to French Fries or French Dressing. No frills means no delays. If they want to drink, they drink. If they want to gamble, they gamble. If they want to eat at the buffet, there is a kiosk right there and its all fast and simple for them.

Some booze, a cigar, a simple red button in front of him ... life is good so why waste money on higher priced places. I think the casinos that offer a Bingo room long ago discovered that low cost, no frills approach works. Some donuts, some juice, some booze and some daubers via a vending machine ... and everyone is set to have a good time.
