Westgate (formerly Hilton) has combined the sportsbook area and horse racing area and seating and reduced the overall size of the 'superbook' to about 25% of what was. I don't know why they would screw with the best feature of the property. The sign out front still say's "superbook, world's largest sportsbook", but it clearly is not any more.

They're supposed to be working on an upgrade to it. According to the Westgate website, it will be completed in "fall 2015"; I think they were targeting completion in time for NFL Week 1, which is Sunday 9/13.

I guess I was right then. We stopped in there on our way back to pick up our luggage to head to the airport and it seems a hell of a lot smaller.

So, you are saying the current configuration is only temporary? I hope you are right.

I'll tell you though, that big new bar area, right in the middle of what used to be the old superbook area, doesn't look temporary. That has replaced much of the old seating/viewing area.
