which resport would you stay at

i have a free offer. which should i stay at. im surprised bills gambling hall isnt included in the offer.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for.
The "early voting" puts the Imperial Palace as zero out of eight. I'm not surprised though reading the recent review here makes me more open to thinking that it might have garnered at least one "mercy vote".

Flamingo, is recently renovated and boasts all these Go suites and a pool, so if you are young perhaps it might be more to your liking but its probably in its proper place as 3 out of 4 in the voting. Though I hear that you must run a gauntlet of overly eager young but not so innocent ladies to get to the elevator.

For overall value, yeah I'd go with Harrah's or its neck and neck alternative.

Heck, Free is Free...

I voted for Harrah's, just for it's location - you're close to Mirage and Venetian, so that gives the average person plenty to do, and for gambling, you'll hit all sides of the spectrum, between Harrahs, MGM, and Venetian. Flamingo comes in a close second. The rooms at Harrah's are nothing spectacular, but they'll do for free.

When I made my hotel choice, I had only two criteria. Price. And because I had three day convention at the Convention Center, I wanted a monorail hotel. As a Harrah's Total Rewards member, my Atlantic City activity got me good rates at all of Harrah's Vegas properties. But Imperial Palace was the cheapest. And that was the reason I chose it. How cheap? Six nights: Sunday thru Friday. Five nights were free, one night, TUESDAY!, was $27.

All four hotels in the poll are monorail hotels, and if they are all free, then it's a different story.

I picked Bally's because I think any strip walking I do would more likely be towards the south end. If you have other criteria, you might want Flamingo, or Harrah's. But even I can't recommend Imperial Palace if you have other choices for the same price.

I think with Harrah's, between Harrah's, The Venetian, and Casino Royale, all next door, you have got the gambling gamut covered.

Harrah's owns it, but it's not really part of the "family". It's not included in the Total Rewards program. When you go to Harrah's website and look up room prices, Bill's isn't included. There IS one link from their Vegas home page to Bill's, but no link back.

You have to go to the pomotions booth to redeem Bill's comp dollars if you want to use them at other properties.

On the flip side, Bill's hotel guests CAN use the pool at the Flamingo.

I voted for Bally's. Bally's and Harrah's are pretty similar in quality, with Bally's perhaps a slight step up.

To me, the choice comes down to what you want to be close to. Harrah's is close to the Mirage, Venetian, and Casino Royale. Bally's is close to Paris, Bellagio, and Caesar's. I like playing at the Mirage and Venetian, but not enough to offset the sightseeing value of Paris and Bellagio.

The last time I used a free Harrah's offer it was at Paris. I'd never stayed there before. My friend came in separately to meet me and stayed at Bally's, and his room was nicer and bigger than mine...

Upon further thinking, I'd take Harrah's. Yeah, I know. Completely the opposite end from Bally's whom I voted for.

Why? In between Harrah's and Casino Royale is a McDonalds with free WiFi.

IF I take my laptop to Vegas, I might as well get some easy / free WiFi.

I voted Flamingo. It's a place I enjoy playing and has a decent location for everything else. If price wasnt a cosideration for my Vegas Vacations I would probably have stayed there, but with the flights as expensive as they are, I tend to try and get the hotel for as close to free as possible.
