I know it's not much, but I'll add $50 into the pot if a member decides to take on the challenge.

Although I lost to Axiom on the last McNugget challenge (gee thanks rudeboioi...j/k), I've got a feeling I could be on the winning side this time.

And let's not forget what comedian Mitch Hedberg said when it comes to pancakes:

As a comedian, you have to start the show strong and you have to end the show strong. Those are the two key elements. You can't be like pancakes... all exciting at first, but then by the end you're _______ sick of 'em!!

:)
You serious, Clark?

I will take the no on 2 stacks in 40 minutes for $200.

I will also offer BBB a free roll of 50 for a stack in 15 minutes. I will also offer an additional up to 200 in action on the no that she wants.

The pancakes have to be eaten as served or dipped in water if preferred, Pancakes cannot be blended or mixed in any way.

I may be willing to go up in amounts under the right conditions. I live a few blocks away so flexible on time.

I'm pretty sure I could do this challenge myself but first Id have to taste the pancakes before hand. Some places have some really nasty ass pancakes and I wouldn't be able to down more than 1 or 2!

This I know from first hand experience... Du Par's serves a great pancake. Have no fear, it's not the quality that stops folks from succeeding.

My bet is like MaxPen's, he knows how to state these things succinctly, for TomG's challenge.

On BAB's I'm a little hesitant so far. I'm a wee bit scared of erasers. "bang bang, clean up on aisle 3" I believe I heard recently. I'm not ready to go 'poof' and disappear. Not ready yet anyway...

I'm still up for this. Was going to try it while I was there this time, but since I cancelled, it will have to wait. Later this year...

"Not now, maybe later". That's what she said. That's what that other she said. And another one of those 'she' things, maybe it's what they all say. Well, some of them just say 'get lost pervert'. I prefer the former to the latter. Life is perfectly created for dreamers.......

Eating 10 pancakes in 15 minutes? Why would anyone past the age of 18 find this fun? Even if you could do it you'd feel bloated and perhaps sick for the rest of the day. I like going up the down escalator better. Or how about going to South Point and climbing onto the Benny Binion statue on horseback to ride to new and exotic places? Photos, please!

Ten of those huge DuPar's pancakes? Even without the time limit, um, no thanks.

I'd like to remind Spring Fling attendees that my Sunday agenda starts at DuPar's (ok, gather at the craps table nearby). I plan on eating an entire order of TWO pancakes. ;)

I've never participated in a prop bet; always wanted to. No way in hell I could survive those nuggets. But pancakes....in 15 minutes. Maybe. More than maybe.

The hard part would be if they made you take longer to do it. They expand....but I think if they went down really fast it's possible to get there. For long enough to win the bet, anyway.

I like pancakes for dinner. They are too filling and hard to digest early in the morning. Plus they make you sleepy.

As eating challenges goes, this is way up there. I think this is tougher than McNuggets. DuPar's pancakes are excellent tasting, and fluffy, perhaps the best I have ever had.. but each one is the size of a salad plate.

That being said... It would be awesome...

There's video on YouTube somewhere of folks trying it. I think you can get a good idea of what you would be up against by watching it.

I barely managed to stuff three down on my recent visit - and then, a week later, had six hot dogs (each weighing 1/6 of a pound) in one sitting for lunch. Mind you, I used pieces of an extremely hollowed-out sourdough roll rather than normal hot dog buns...

That gave me a chuckle...

The challenge is simple. Eat 10 DuPar's pancakes in 15 minutes. You have to use a fork, so no rolling, squashing, or compacting by hand or machine. Finish all 10, and the the pancakes are free.

Here is a screenshot of the rules:

90 seconds per pancake seems crazy. I think swallowing would be tough.

Hooters has a forty ounce steak challenge I'd be interested in trying. Anyone else up for it?
