This thread is to be used to discuss restaurants and dining available at Arizona Charlie's (Boulder).

The buffet leaves some to be desired but the sour-dough cafe has some good breakfast specials at low prices. Like ham steak and eggs, steak and eggs and bacon and eggs as well as a variety of other items that are a good value for your dollar.

Do they still have the steak-and-eggs for $2.49?

I've never had the guts to get it.

The price went up to $2.99 when I visited a few days ago. Actually, I think they charged me an extra $0.50 because I didn't present a player's card (I came strictly for the food and do not intend on returning in the future).

The service at the Sourdough Cafe was excellent.. some very down to earth folks who get you what you need. The steak itself was a pretty average cut of sirloin, cooked to order, and served with 2 eggs however you like 'em, hash browns, and bread with jam. Keeping the price in mind, this was a great meal. My bill was a whopping $7 since I ordered a soft drink and an appetizer of clam chowder.

Can't say much else, to be honest. It's good food for cheap, designed to fill you up and get you back on the gaming floor. Or for me, to fuel me on my journey to stop at all of the well known locals casinos in LV.

Slots earn an average for the casino of $73.15 per day at the Boulder property, compared to $120.90 for Arizona Charlie's Decatur.

Even so, Boulder has $100K a day in revenue for a run down old property. They can lose a few bucks on breakfast.

Well, they don't aim at the linen napkin in a plastic ring and flowers-on-the-table type crowd. Those who have spent a day or night at slot machines just want something filling for their next eight hour shift at the machines.
