I was very impressed with how fast rudeboyoi ate 20. As I recall, his time was 2:42. At that rate he could eat 100 in 13.5 minutes. He would have a good chance of getting all 100 down before his stomach tells his brain that it is full.

I'll freeroll $100 on it.

May the betting begin!

I'll start by offering even money on the YES (meaning I have the NO) to known members in good standing.

I wouldn't even bet that much on the yes.

And, no, that's not an insult. I'm not sure that being able to eat 100 nuggets in an hour is a good thing.

I know it's small potatoes, but I'm willing to bet $50 on the yes if I can get 2 to 1 odds.

If rudeboyoi does not eat 100 nuggets, I'll pay $50.

If he does eat 100 nuggets, I'll win $100.

And as an incentive to stimulate rudeboyoi's appetite, I'll pledge to give him half of my winnings ($50) if he completes the challenge.

I'll take this bet if we can do payment either by emailed amazon gift card or through a trusted forum member (Axel has offered to play this role in the past). I'd rather not mail a check with my name and address on it.

I'm liking the sound of this already. I'm so confident in rudeboyoi that I hadn't even considered the logistics of how to pay if I should actually (gasp!) lose.

This is really, really disgusting. We are talking about 56oz of chicken McNuggets. I ate a 20 oz steak once (no bone -- 20oz of meat) and I was still full the next morning. And, I'm pretty sure that steak is easier to eat than McNuggets.

I agree with blount here. THe odds need to be more attractive than EVENS and good on Axiom for stepping up.

Nobody has completed the challenge yet so based only on those statistics, I feel like there is no way evens is a fair bet.

I'll be in town from Friday so I'd be happy to attend but I'm going to need some juicy odds if I were to take the YES side.

In fairness, after the freeroll he is giving, he is also only getting even money.

But I still think that there is way less than a 1/3 chance that he can do it. Three and a half pounds of nuggets???

The first challenger made it to 85 and Mission made it to 80,so it can definitely be accomplished by some. If Mission was going to try again I would think he has a fair chance of doing it.

By the way, in case anyone disagrees with me, I'll give some more action at +200 (though not too much... I don't really want to risk more than a few hundred on this. I've never met Rudeboyoi so for all I know he is some kind of nugget-eating machine)

For a random person off the street (or even a random male weighing 200 pounds or more) I'd say that the fair odds exceed +1000.

I'd like to suggest an amendment to the rules to make this a little easier. Previously, the contestant had to keep the McNuggets down for a solid hour after consuming the last one. I suggest shortening that to 15 minutes. Comments?

Fair enough but I was mor thinking along the lines of other suitors who might give me more and I might take more.

The Wiz's deal is his deal but I'm looking to have a bet when the lines suit me :)

I am fascinated to follow these McNuggets challenges! I was wondering about the nutritional content of 100 McNuggets, so I checked out McD's website to see what they said. I'll put what I found out under a spoiler tag, for the faint of heart! :)

100 Chicken McNuggets
Percentage Recommended Daily Allowance figures are on the right.

Calories (kcal): 4,700 -- 260%
Fat: 300 g -- 450%
Cholesterol: 650 mg -- 220%
Sodium: 9,000 mg -- 370%

The, um good news?, is that you will get 20% of your RDA of both Vitamin C and Calcium, and 80% for iron!

I haven't bet anybody, so from somebody neutral, 15 minutes is much more reasonable. Mercy almost dictates allowing an upchuck at that point anyway.

Wishful thinking. You need to be mentally preparing to part with $100 instead of counting on winning $50. ;)

I thought I saw where it was going to occur in the early part of August, which isn't that far away I guess. Hopefully somebody in the know will chime in with a definitive answer.

It's not just that. I figured, how hard could it be to eat 40, so that's what I got last Saturday. After 30, it wasn't so much being full as it was the taste getting to me, even with BBQ sauce; I stopped after 33 (in just over 15 minutes).

The exact same thing happened to me with the taco bell tacos that I tried to eat way back when. I finished my 15 or whatever it was, but by the end I was putting a couple of packets of fire sauce on each one and the horrible taste of the tacos was cutting through the sauce taste. It was disgusting. I was not really full by the end (not hungry, but not stuffed: I could have eaten dessert) but I could not have eaten many more tacos. It was just too disgusting.

This is probably just your body's way of telling you that eating that much crap is a really, really, really bad idea.

It's the fat content, you're body says enough
already. I got violently ill in HS trying to eat
a 21 piece bucket of KFC. I made it to 16 and
for the next 10 years just the smell of it made me
want to upchuck. When my cousin was 10 she
ate a whole stick of butter and got ill, and she
can't eat it since. 50 years with no butter. The
fat.
