I would like to take a couple days to shop for a motorcycle helmet and accessories, as well as a full wetsuit. Hopefully I can find some deals. What area of Las Vegas would have these types of shops? I would like to stay near there in cheap accommodations like a hostel.

welcome to the forum.
I am not sure just what gear you are interested in. There are alot of motocycle riders in Vegas but Laughlin/BullHead city has several casinos and zillions of riders that favor some adventuresome route that ends in Laughlin. Rent is cheap in certain areas but crime is high too.

You might search google for poker runs or motorcycle clubs.

One casino in Vegas has a Bass Pro shop .... probably help you with wet suits. I don't know.

Thanks! As for motorbike gear, I need to buy a full face helmet, gloves, a lock and a storage box for the back of my scooter. Are there any areas in Vegas that have a few motorcycle shops near each other? I'll be looking for good deals - hopefully I'll luck out! I won't be doing any riding while I'm there. The wetsuit is second priority but would love to hear of any stores/areas that sell those too...

While I'm not familiar with the motorcycle shops in Las Vegas, my experience has been that most motorcycle shops do not stock a wide assortment of scooter accessories (specifically, trunks - which are notably different from motorcycle trunks).

If they have to special order it (likely), you may be able to order the same thing yourself and save money (unless you're looking to build a relationship with a shop - but why? In my experience, most motorcycle shops don't cater to scooterists, and don't want to.

Motorcycle gear doesn't usually match the style of a scooter. If that's important to you, don't get pushed into buying something that's not a good fit for you.
May the cards fall in your favor.

There was a Honda place which dealt not only in the Honda scooters, but other scooters. That place closed. Or moved, not sure.

Anyway Yamaha makes a scooter or two, and if there is a place there they may have others.

Got to be a dedicated shop for scooters though.

Don't know about any deals though.
There's no secret. Just know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.

Thanks! I figure I could get the helmet, gloves and lock from a motorcycle place, or at minimum try some stuff on and order it online after..
