I don't know, but I think that new member Kellysilver whose first and only post was a blog post about an online casino he seems to be touting is a candidate for being flagged.

I had a look. It could be a legitimate tip. I'll give him/her the benefit the doubt for now.

Highly doubt it.

I agree with the Wizard about giving people the benefit of the doubt, but I also think that there should be a way for flag blog posts that are Spam or inappropriate, just like regular forum posts.

There is currently no way to do that. Webmaster JB is still busy working on behind the scenes stuff on the Odds site. After that we have some other project ideas in mind. It will be months down the road before there is another round of improvements to this site. We pretty much have to make the best of it for now. Overall I think it is working out pretty well. Regarding abusive blog entries I will personally monitor that and warn abusers about abuses, as I just did with the guy doing baseball picks.

Oh, so that's what that blog was about. Baseball. I figured it had to be something about a sports book but I had no idea what as there was no textual support or analysis.

Might want to reconsider the priority of this idea in light of the blog spam flood from brand new account today.

I already have a couple people messaging me about spam blogs, and others are welcome to do so. I don't always think to look at the blog section, so I appreciate the head's up on it. I usually delete and block the spammers, though on occasion (as the Wizard said), there's honest intent on a topic of interest that just merits a warning.
