| Wizard Administrator Member since: Oct 14, 2009 Threads: 312 Posts: 6753 | I had to give BuzzPaff three days for personal insults, profanity, and general ungentlemanly behavior in the Career Advice thread. After I felt I handled the BoyMimbo suspension badly I sent Buzz a warning by PM. He asked to be banned for three days, which I thought was big of him, so I am doing so. Let this be a reminder that gentlemanly behavior is expected of all here, especially of the long-timers, who should be setting a good example. Also, using punctuation marks to thinly veil profanity, especially if done as an insult, does not cut it with me. It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet. |

I didn't know that. I was going to suspend him anyway. Buzz is has a long track record as a good member, but he seems to be a different person last week. Hopefully he will behave better upon returning. In other news I gave i0r0retardod 30 days for this post. It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet. |

Of course I do get a kick out of a certain definition.......a person here is a 'good member' just as long they go along (agree) with the masses. Individual thought/ideas will be dealt with swiftly. Ken If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
Playing at the casino doesn't make you a pro any more than standing in a garage makes you a car. I prefer to be hated for telling the truth, than loved for telling a lie. No person has yet convinced me that their way of playing roulette is better than my way. Winners have simply formed the habit of doing things roulette AP players don't like to do. I'm sure AP (roulette) worked just fine back in 1923. Gambler's Fallacy is a term coined by unsuccessful gamblers to validate their reasons for losing. 5.26%, so what?......I get taxed everyday. Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it. Don't play/study roulette for a TOTAL of 9 hours in your lifetime and then preach that a person can not do 'well' with it.
Also, don't let the '2+2 will never equal 5' crowd bring you down. TRIAL & ERROR guys, I can't say it enough! When you're finished changing, you're finished. |

Or about how the game will perform against the competition. We all love a good argument, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's when the argument itself turns ugly that the problems occur. Yeah, but generally, only spammers will go thru the hoops of getting around that. Normal members will take their lumps and wait out the suspension. Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown.
