Does he make good money doing it? How many subscribers? The key is the marketing of yourself / your product. At the end of the day, NO ONE has insider information (that they would actually tell the public anyway) and sports wagering is more of a money management game than anything else.

As Ive said before, you can be on the right play but still lose the bet due to multiple factors... I still look at my pool win in the superbowl as a supernatural fluke. I played NE and the over for reasons that didnt make the most sense, mainly to hedge my position as leader in the pool, but also because all the Favorites and Overs kept coming in as a crazy trend, and the destiny factor of Tom Brady getting revenge on Goodell.... All came into play. I still think the right play was Atlanta and Under after watching the game, but the right bet didnt win. But a win is a win.... and winning is what its all about.

Handicappers ... good ones... can help those who dont really follow sports but want to bet, or they just feel like they cant win themselves so they need help. A good sports handicapper should live and breathe the sports he is handicapping and be knowledgeable in order to put his clients in the best possible scenario for winning. But it is not guaranteed.

Now the stock market is different... High probability of success when you know your companies and their business sector.

How so? Other than the obvious.....DONT BET OVER YOUR HEAD AND GO BROKE. I would assume that goes for anything and everything related to gambling and even in most aspects of life.

I highly suggest people read Rigondeaux's posts talking about tout's.

I would argue that money management is a very important part of all betting, including sports wagering. eg.. lets say you go 5-5 in your picks. If you just put the same amount on every bet, you come out down via the vig. You need to go at least 75% on your games when betting consistently equal denominations in order to have a somewhat meaningful account profit.

Lets say 2 guys both go 7-3 in their picks. One guy puts 100 equally on each game.. he is up 370 with vig accessed. The second guy put in 3 3 team parlays and 2 straight games. He hits 2 out of 3 games in each of his 3 parlays for 100 wagered on each.. he loses all 3. He put 300 on 2 games straight and splits.. he loses on vig. So, the same games played but managed differently by the two guys have drastically different results. There are many scenarios that we can discuss. He could also have won, but in the long run that is unlikely. Now, if you can't pick any winners at all.... then you cant win regardless of how you play.

WatchMeWin, I agree with you, but there is no need when you put your money with Steve Stevens and the "Dice Doc" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lW7q6GSMI0s
