so I have a comped 4day/3nite at the wynn from my local casino here in MD.
it comes with $200 freeplay.

Terms + conditions:
http://www.visitwynn.com/tc/index.cfm?term_id=767599

the freeplay is actually Wynn's FREECREDIT:
FREECREDIT included in this offer is only available for use on select Wynn Las Vegas and Encore slot machines; certain exclusions apply.

Can it be used on VP? all VP?
e-Craps?
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice). Lets hear it for the SpeedCount Mathletes :)

I've used Freecredit on VP at Wynn before.

It was just $10 that they gave me for visiting on my birthday, so I just dumped it in some crappy quarter game they had on the main floor...

Sounds like the promotional chips may be a better value than the free slot play because you get to keep the chip until it loses. At some places, freebets or matchbets get taken win or lose and only remain during a push. Can use on live craps on the pass/don't pass line and it stays up until it loses. Better yet, I've used free bets on BJ and actually got paid the 3:2 on the free bet on a natural BJ.

hm.. I don't see a difference between them paying me for my original bet plus my win, then taking away my free chips vs just paying the win and letting me keep the free chips?

(my local casino does that for free chips.)

You get paid twice on free chips at your local casino? Not sure I understand.

From the link you sent sounds like:

A-- you can place a bet with the promotional chip, let's say $50 on Black at roulette, black comes out, they pay you $50 and let you keep the promotional chip to play again until the promotional chip loses.

B--Where I play, I place a $50 free bet on black at roulette, black comes out, I get paid $50 and lose the coupon. Red comes out, I get paid nothing and lose the coupon. So I lose the coupon either way once the bet is resolved.

The only time I've got to keep the coupon was on a push at BJ. Then i could play it again until I either won or lost.

I haven't used Wynn's Promotional Chips, so I'm not exactly sure how they work, but based on my interpretation of the rules if they work like A, that's a better scenario than B.

Actually if you win, you want them to turn your promo chips into cashable chips, then you have to play less to exhaust your promo chips.

There are ways to get the value of the promo chip to exceed 100%, but generally you would want to cash them.

You can use it on most machines including VP, it's good at Encore as well . They do exclude some Machines(usually state wide linked progressives) . Haven't tried E craps.

I have the same information as AxelWolf has.
I asked Wynn player's club, they told me only state wide progressive (such as Megabucks ) excluded. All VP machines (including progressive) no problem.
Don't know e-Craps.

After reading that I now remember.

Not all VP, at least not Encore. It will not even work on some slots. it's a crapshoot on anything new regarding slots, even the non state wide slots. Probably best to avoid Encore altogether.
