Sands Corporation finished just a smidge behind Marriot in 2013 for revenue for the year, but it looks like it will blow out into the lead for 2014.

Exponential growth in Macao has brought in Sands Corporation $4billion in the first quarter. Only 7% of operating income comes from Las Vegas and Pennsylvania casinos.

Las Vegas gaming revenue only beat the Pennsylvania Casino by less than 1%. In an hour long presentation Sheldon Adelson only mention Vegas twice, and Pennsylvania not at all. The Sands corporation is widely rumored to be in talks with Carl Icahn's Tropicana corporation for a property sale. The PA property only generates 1.4% of the corporation operating income.

The Sands Macao (the smallest China property) opened 10 years ago, about the same time as the PA gaming commission was formed. When the company bid on the PA license it was not clear that growth would be so spectacular in Asia.
