So I've been a regular at Sands PA for the past 2 years since they opened up table games.

At first, you could NOT even get in at a $15 table without waiting at least 30 mins for someone to get up.

So I played slots(I know bad idea) but to my surprise, the slots were quite generous. First time I hit for $200 at a $1 machine, came back the next day and hit a Progressive for $1005 after only 10 spins!

This, I believe, triggered the Weekly Free Slot Play offers of $10 and a few Mystery Cash & Return Rewards for certain days. I thought, great!

Eventually the table game hysteria died down by December and after getting 3 more progressives for all slightly under $1200 each, I found my groove at Blackjack.

For two years, the weekly slot offers continued and I didn't bother to play much beyond the free money. I heard they tightened up their slots considerably this year, so I didn't bother to "go for it" since Dec. 2011. Just maybe $20 here and there after a good session at Blackjack.

About two months ago, I got a mailer from Sands E-Marketing Club asking me to update my e-mail to get "exclusive offers". I thought, why not? Gave em my "other" email and got a bunch of Gift offers and extra comp dollar offers.

What I didn't realize, is that now those $10 weekly offers have vanished. Despite increased table play and lengthier visits in the months of Oct. & Nov. this year. I truly feel this is not a coincidence and since I gave the E-Club my e-mail address they've decided to cut my free play. I hardly played the slots this entire year, but they still kept giving the offers. So that more than likely was not why is stopped.

I intend to inquire about the matter in person, but how cheesy is this place that they solicit you for your e-mail and once you give it, they cut your offers that have been there for two years?

I advise any Sands patrons to avoid the E-club's "Exclusive Gift Offers" as it may result in the loss of any free play you're getting.

I would suspect they cut your offers for the simple reason that you've stoped playing slots. "$20 here or there" as you say isin't going to get you a lot of offers. So while I understand the timing seems fishy to you. Your decrease in offers probably has nothing to do with giving them your email address. Just a guess.

I agree with vendman. Casinos put a lot of thought into how generous to be with their offers. However, the genreal rule of thumb is that the more you play the better your offers. When you cut down your slot play it was only a matter of time before your offers went down. I think the Email had nothing to do with it.

Also, for purposes of marketing, casinos are really two casinos, one for slots and one for table games. Don't expect table game play to improve your slot offers. Casinos know that blackjack is not very profitable for them, so it is hard to impress them with blackjack play.

10 months of relative slot inactivity should have ended the offers if that was the case. I've gone years at other casinos without spinning a reel and every 4 months they send out a "Slot Play Offer" to try and get me back.

If I had ONLY played free money and never spent a dime out of pocket, then I would understand. But this just seems like they were baiting me along to get my e-mail, and then cut the offers out less than 60 days after getting it. I certainly didn't drop my ADT as far as rated play, in fact it increased considerably.

Heck, this place gives NO free slot money for New Card members UNLESS you give them your e-mail! And when you do, it's a pathetic $5!

But if it's true that they don't care about table play as much as slot play, that's pretty sad and the fact they've supposedly tilted slot payouts in their favor even more than usual, they are in for a lot more angry patrons!

Nah. What happened was the long lines at the table games made you a slot player, therefore you got comped as a slot player but eventually your betting habits caught up with you and you reverted to a Table Games bettor and therefore your comps eventually reverted to Table Games Player. Nothing too strange here. Casinos love slot players.

I wish it were that easy, but other casinos had me down as a Table player and would offer Match Play Coupons.

Until I stopped coming for several months or even a year, then magically it was now Free Slot play offers.

We're all aware casinos play "Come Back" games with inactive players, I just find it odd that Sands would do this when I've been there many times each month over the past 2 years and all of a sudden, their E-club got my info and they removed the bait. Not a big loss at all, but still odd.
