Horseshoe Baltimore is on the smaller side that's why I think it's a joke I was over 150k excluding tier bonuses in q4 2014. Don't know Cheryl but can ask tonight if U want to know.

Ok found out Cheryl left a few months back and contact didn't know where to. Also found out Whitney was not fired. All the hosts and some other casino staffwere asked to sign a non compete agreement that they would not take a casino position at another casino within 150 miles within a year if they were to leave Horseshoe Baltimore. She refused to sign and was terminated. Sounds like they are locking in staff in fear of them leaving for Mgm harbor which is scheduled to open later this year just outside DC. Suprised such an agreement was not standard as part of initial employment and to require it of existing hosts without some sort of compensation seems weird. Kind of think they did this to weed out underperformers

Good for her. If she had signed that agreement and then been fired, she would literally be unable to get a similar job within her city for over a year.

And trust me, the casino certainly wasn't agreeing to pay her for that year if they felt they needed to terminate her.

I would have talked to a lawyer first before I refused to sign. Generally non-compete agreements like that are unenforceable. In California, they are not at all.
