Back in January I got a mailer to try for the top 100 at HorseShoe Cincinnati. I didn't bother with it after I saw it would exclude VP play. The top 100 tier credit earners get $500 free slot play each quarter and 3 10x multiplier days to use whenever you want.

I got an email letting me know how I did in the first quarter, this is part of that email....

Although you did not qualify for this quarter’s Top 100, make it your goal in quarter two. April 1st marked the beginning of the quarter two earning period.

Based on your play from January to March 2014, your Tier Credits earned at Horseshoe Cincinnati were 3194 during the first quarter. Tier Credits earned exclude Video Poker play. The Top 100 qualifiers in the first quarter earned between 35,301 and 605,405 Tier Credits.

Wow 605,405 tier credits, how can you possibly do that?

Any VP players here that go to HorseShoe Cincinnatie or Southern Indiana? What games are you playing?

They have the money I wish I had?

I have a feeling that's not true either. But Cincinnati should definitely be sucking up to them until they go broke.

And this promo is terrible even for the 100th place finisher (best place to be).

I agree it doesn't sound right. Yes, not much of a promotion to only get $500 and some multiplier days for putting about $175,000 coin in on a slot machine if my math is right. You also get a trip package or apple products worth $1500 if you make the top 100 in all 4 quarters.

Valley Forge did a similar promotion in March. The split people into 4 groups, and you competed against your group all month. At the end, top X amount in each group got $100 in freeplay. 3 groups were pretty reasonable - about 80 points to a few hundred points was the paid range (1 point - $1). The Yellow group had someone who earned almost 4,000 points.

I was in a group and still dont understand how it worked. Actually I dont understand the entire VF points system. I just received a mailer saying I had 97 points that could be changed into USAir miles. I have like $160 in comps, but have no idea at rate I earned them. But then again, I dont at CZR either, but there a host usually just covers charges if the play is there.

Retired school teacher's lawyers post on youtube about unlawful detention and false arrest of their client after schoolteacher won a two thousand dollar video poker prize but had what was deemed inadequate identification on him and had to endure almost a two hour wait for a promised voucher.

“[Cincinatti Cop working as casino security guard] walked right up to me and said, ‘When I call you over, come right over to me, boy,’ ”
Schoolteacher: "I'm leaving" Cop: "No, You're not".

“He leaned a little closer and challenged me basically to a fight, said DiSalvo, who took off his glasses during the exchange. “I said, ‘If that’s what you want to do’ … and we were detained.”

vf is a mess 150 coin in is one point you can switch points for miles at 10 miles per point so for a flight you need basically 2500 points or 375k coin in
so theo of 37500 for a 400 flight- 1 percent- thrilling
they offered points to free play at 1-1 yes gift cards are 2 to 1 how does that make any sense- and cash also 2-1
but then again this is the same place that at one time when they first opened allowed you to convert you match play mailers to free play
well that was fun while it lasted
has gone down hill in a big way int he last year
The bet will not be paid- not now not ever
