Boyd Gaming Sapphire Level

Does anyone know whether once you reach the Sapphire level and you begin to receive 2x points, does that also mean you get 2x tier points? Therefore, my understanding would be that playing VP with games that you receive 1 point for $1, then it would require approximately $137,500 ($25000 during your Ruby play and $112,500 during your Sapphire play) played through to reach Emerald status.

Can anyone confirm this?

It should be double slot points only. I have never heard of a company ever doubling the tier points for higher classes.

Just the 'cash' points get doubled.

Incidentally, I just learned the other day that you no longer get tier points on StW craps at the Orleans anymore. =(

When was the last time you noticed that? I had someone check that and they said it was gone a long time ago.

It's been a while since I swung by the unit at The Orleans. After a few awful runs there, I pared back my action and sent most of it over to The Palms, where I've been doing pretty decently. No comps, but not losing at least...

So it's probably been about a year since I last saw it. I'm guessing my old thread that kept track of machine craps comps is waaaay outdated now? =P
