On any given machine, is the frequency of a given hand, 4 of a kind for example, the same regardless of the games on that machine -eg, am i as likely to get 4 2's on deuces wild as bonus poker, or four aces on bonus/ddb?

No. The machine deals the cards randomly so in that sense you are equally likely to get any hand regardless of the paytable. However, different paytables demand different strategies, therefore if you are playing optimal strategy you will hold different cards from the same hand in differet paytables. For example, ind dueces wild you will often find yourself holding just a 2, something you would never do in BP. Becuase of this, you will hit 4 dueces more frequently in dueces wild than BP.
