I have zero interest in visiting any region where there's a possibility of getting decapitated if I run into the wrong characters.....Mexico included

Most of you would have a better shot at getting into Mecca than the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Sorry Wiz, casinos in Manila, have free drinks, and tipping is not expected ( very few people tip) .

Thanks; I didn't know that.

Here ya go!
LOCATION
63rd Floor of Mandalay Bay
WALKING DIRECTIONS
FROM FRONT DESK:
The entrance to the Foundation room can be found on the backside of the guest elevators facing the escalators to the beach level.
FROM PARKING GARAGE:
Enter the doorways from the garage area and proceed on cobblestone walkway. Follow pathway as it veers to the right. Take left onto casino floor and follow pathway toward the lobby. The entrance to the Foundation room can be found on the backside of the guest elevators facing the escalators to the beach level.
When a rock is thrown into a pack of dogs, the one that yells the loudest is the one who got hit.

Why is that? I thought the Foundation Room at MB was open to the public now. When it was private I used to have a membership, but mine expired about 12 years ago. I was there last year and didn't have any problem going right up.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

That is my understanding too. Read the web site. They indicate the open hours and phone number to make a reservation. Even when it was private, I think anybody could buy a membership.

Pretty much what they said above. My company has a membership there. Anyone can go up to the restaurant or lounge. The only thing we get special is a couple times per year we make use of a couple of the private rooms for a small get together. Was also able to view the fireworks from the balcony year before last. That was pretty awesome. The food is not that good but the views is amazing.
