I totally forgot that I had intended on reporting my experiences here when I saw the game a couple weeks ago on my Vegas trip.

I was playing a lot of poker at Planet Hollywood. These machines were very close to the poker room so I was able to watch them. In all of my hours, I never saw anyone playing. I mentioned this to one of the poker dealers, and he confirmed that he never saw anyone playing them either.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

It is funny you mention Planet Hollywood as that was one of the first properties on the strip we looked for Gamblit, as I had heard they were one of the properties that had it. When I didnt see it, I asked one of the pit bosses and he said he had never heard of it.

That's not surprising. After all, these are in the slot department, not table games department.

They have officially begun focusing on/promoting "Gamblit Poker LIVE" (the table game format that won Cutting Edge). I think this is proper timing based upon the performance (or lack thereof) of the electronic machines. That said, if people don't get the excitement from the possibility of big jackpots from the digital version, I'm not so sure they will get that from the max family pot with the rake. Also, I still don't understand how they plan to get a game started without shills.... As always, just my thoughts.

Is there a known number of cards dealt after 1 hand qualifies ? If I only have 1 card and think there are only 2 more cards to be dealt, would I just be hitting the button repeatedly before I see the card ? If several players have a 2 card hand with 1 card to go, would they both be hitting the button no matter what ?

There is. I can't remember where I saw the info, but I think it was 6 more cards after the 1st hand. So not sure that's the correct number, but the answer to your question is "yes".
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

As others have mentioned, this game seems like a fail mainly because it won't make any money. It's geared towards millennials, but millennials don't play table games. I saw the e-table version of this game and the company was trying to place those units in bars. Sorry but by the time a millennial is done paying for drinks they have no $ left to gamble. Also it's designed to be played with friends so unless you're with a group, good luck finding a decent game.

what they could have done at bar seats is a single player console networked with all the other consoles at the bar.
just put in your $ and wait for others to join.

if no one comes by the time you're leaving, just cash out

Not sure I agree with this statement "...millennials don't play table games" unless you meant millennials don't like to gamble at (I think the jury is still out on gambling as a whole)...but if you find a millennial that does like to gamble, they are more likely to play table games than slots.

I believe I read somewhere that if millennials do gamble, it's 8% for slots VERSUS 24% for table games. I see skilled slots are focusing on Zombies and War games. Well, E3 2017 is a gamer's equivalent of G2E. Gameinformer #1 video game magazine voted a game #1 of all the games presented there.
50 games rated and #1 is....... SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY

Millennials like screens to interface with and generally do not gamble in b&m casino's, but they sure do online. Also they will gamble like a mofo on cryptocurrencies.

This article basically states casino business is contracting because there are less gamblers and the value of the gambling dollar has decreased while the house advantage has increased yoy.

This is the quote from the above that I liked the best:

"Thus, if you really want to appeal to millennials, what you really want to do is find a way to deliver gambling value, appeal to intelligent people, and let smart people sell their friends on your propositions."

Not sure how the proliferation of 6:5 BJ is addressing this, but in an internet informed Millennial Age, the bad deal that 6:5 BJ is for the player doesn't seem like a long term winning strategy for operators.

Compare that to UTH with its 0.58% Element of Risk when played correctly...I can tell you which game a Millennial is going to want to learn and play and it isn't 6:5 BJ.
