Flushes - new table game in Harrahs in Laughlin

Hi,

Just returned from Laughlin and played a game calles Flushes. You get dealt 7 cards and have to make your best flush from it. No other type of hand will do and like 3 card poker you have a bet against the dealer and in this case 2 bets against the deck (how good your hand is). I found it thoroughly enjoyable and it seemed to give out far more big hands than 3 card poker or let it ride.

Has anyone done the maths on this yet ?

New and in Laughlin? I thought everything in Laughlin was from the Geritol set?

Yes, the Filed Trial was done at Laughlin, it's close to 2 years. Now also at M and Planet Hollywood.

I can vouch it was there in early June, as I played it with PaigowDan then. He said it was also at MGM, I think. At PH late afternoon the minimum was $5, and you could put $1 on the side bets as well.

I rather liked it, but kept getting stuck in Pai Gow mode for some reason. So I tended to palce my flush hands on the discard spot, as it takes the place for the hgh hand in PGP <sigh>. Lucky for me another palyer kept reminding me not to do that, and the dealer wasn't fuzzy about where I put which cards.
