I don't see that as irony. If it was "Macarena" or "Who Let the Dogs Out" that would be funny and ironic to say it wasn't popular even when it was popular. But that Madonna song doesn't have the stigma of being a "clunker" that got lucky, even if I personally hate it. |

Plus any game with a safety is a good game. I think Tuck should have had half a shout for MVP there, but I'm always anti-QB for MVP unless they do something stellar. Manning was just doing his job out there (and doing it very well). The half time show was a SHOW, and was highly entertaining visually and not too bad musically. Plus marks for having MIA in there, she's a Sarf London girl done good. Last years Black-Eyed Peas mess is forgotten finally. Still not as good as Prince, but excellent. It's likely going to be big minus marks for having MIA in there, at least for the NFL and NBC. Not likely fineable but certainly embarrassing. |
