Has anyone who bets baseball noticed that the Giants have been playing games that go UNDER the total at least 2 out of 3 times?

The Giants have been hitting .217 over the last month. Their pitching staff also has the best ERA in baseball during that time: 2.33. It doesn't take much insight to figure that Giants games will be very low-scoring.

The trend has been that the Giants hitters wake up about every third game. The rest of the time, they score two runs or less. And the pitching staff has held the opposition to 3 runs or less EIGHTEEN GAMES IN A ROW--two shy of the major league record.

If you look at their scores over the month of September, you see an awful lot of 1-0 and 2-1 games. Now, they don't always WIN such games, but the total seems like a really good bet to me. I don't know how much the Vegas books have compensated for this, but you rarely see a number under 6, and 6 seems like an awful lot of runs for a Giants game.

The pitchers to really concentrate on would be Lincecum, Cain, Sanchez, and Bumgarner. Zito has been inconsistent.
