Hmm . . . after going 6-0 this week, I guess I'll have to shoot for "most average" instead of "worst" picker this season. And, I have to admit it is just barely possible that I was trying to go 0-6!

Aluisio got his Picks into me after I posted everyone's Picks, but before the games started. Personally, since it is early in the season, I would vote to accept the Picks since there are plenty of weeks left and no strategic advantage to doing that...but we would absolutely make this the last week to allow any late picks.
The first three people to vote either way (other than myself) to allow the Picks will take it.
Here are the Picks:

Lions -1.5
Broncos -8
Dolphins +3
Saints +6
Which make him 4-0 on the week, but I can take a screenshot of my PM's showing that he did, in fact, get his picks in before the games started.

He would be a strong contender for the "You Suck" consolation if allowed to re-enter. I will leave it to the others who have more of a vested interest in his continuing eligibility.

What's the point of the rules if JoelDeeze can get away with not posting the proper amount of picks early on, and this guy sends his picks late? That allows him to see more line movement, potential injuries/inactives, etc that no one else had the ability to see.
It's a $20 contest, and I'm not going to win anything, but keep the integrity of it. If you wouldn't allow it week 17, why would you allow it in week 7? That makes literally no sense.
Call me an asshole or stickler, whatever you want. But the rules should be followed. If everyone can't get away this once, it's pretty unfair to allow him to get away with it once.

I vote disallow. I was going to send my picks at 11:00am EST on Sunday but did not since the picks had already been posted, and ended up having to use my bye week when I did not want to.

I don't wish to have a refund.
However, posting picks late shouldn't fall under the "this sort of thing" umbrella. That is literally the biggest advantage someone could possibly have in a contest that uses stale lines (lines that are posted once and don't move). I think it is pretty obvious there was no ill intent, but a contest with money on the line should be following the rules outlined in the beginning. Especially considering I or anyone else wouldn't have the luxury of posting late picks in week 8 or beyond.
You can cancel me off the list for next year, as I won't be participating now that I see the rules don't really go into affect until an arbitrary week decided in the middle of the season.
With that said, best of luck to all the rest of the year. Looks tight at the top!

Obviously, the reason to not allow this is so no one can look at picks and imitate them. I would say the season is well along now; the time for allowing rule-breaking is past.
Since this is the first offense, I assume, I would say allow the late entry if the PM was nearly simultaneous with the posting of everyone else's. Otherwise, no.

Hi everyone! First of all, I am sorry for the mess last week! I completely understand the rules, and personally I am grateful for Mission and everyone else that voted in favor of allowing my picks. It is no excuse, but last week I travelled abroad (Paraguay), and with that in mind and also because of the timezone difference between Brazil and the U.S. I got totally lost. The truth is that I never got to see anyone's picks prior for making my own. When I realized games were going to start in an hour or so, I went berserk and sent my picks in.
Again, I understand that rules are rules, but I agree mission has the discretion to allow exceptions. Also, I disagree about being taken away for the consolation prizes, mainly the "most average" because I believe this prize is 100% random and it would not make any sense to get privileged information from other people and aim for average.
Well, I am sorry again. Will make sure it won't happen again!

The first week missed for anyone is okay. No wins, no losses. It constitutes your one allowable "skipped week."
A second skipped week results in an 0-5 forfeit. This player is then no longer eligible for the two consolation prizes. No one has an 0-5 forfeit so far, so yes, the standings and percentage I listed above reflect everyone's actual picks.
I can't answer your question about how many times default picks have been applied. At least twice, that I know of. (Wizard once and TheoHuxtable last week.)

A second skipped week results in an 0-5 forfeit. This player is then no longer eligible for the two consolation prizes. No one has an 0-5 forfeit so far, so yes, the standings and percentage I listed above reflect everyone's actual picks.
I can't answer your question about how many times default picks have been applied. At least twice, that I know of. (Wizard once and TheoHuxtable last week.)

A few stats:
As you can see, we have a new leader. For the first time this year, Wizard has taken over the #1 spot, previously held by 10DollarBri since Week 3. Wizard's impressive record of 11-5 over the past three weeks has contributed to this.
Regular Picks finished 79-49 this weekend. (61.72%) That might be an all-time best for a single weekend, for the group.
Three players were undefeated this weekend (Wudged, Scottimus1, and Genwyzgy) and seven players only had one loss.
PlayYourCardsRight, with his record of 1-4, tightened it up a bit at the bottom.
Mission is on a 11-3 run over the past three weeks and has climbed from 14th place after Week 6, to 6th place.
Even better, Scottimus1 has a record of 13-3 over the past three weeks, and in the process has climbed from 9th to 3rd.
After Week 5 I was dead last, but with my 13-6 run over the past four weeks, I'm working my way back to the middle of the pack.
The biggest drop in position since Week 4 has got to be JW17. Five consecutive losing weeks has dropped him from 6th place to 25th place.
