Thank you. I checked back into SBG Global, which is where I get the data from and they also show lower numbers. Now I'm not sure if the lines moved since early this morning or whether I screwed up when I transferred the data. Maybe I screwed up since I had to transfer twice because they initially did not have a line on the White Sox/Tampa Bay game. So I am going to choose to re-update the files and re-post the picks.

Hi Sally! This YTD there gave been 157 picks of +130dogs. I went into the negative twice this year, on April 12th. and April 19th. The largest negative? 12!!
Bankroll required to get the YTD gain of 3,324? 248!!

Sally, really? Review the stats on the +130dogs. Out of the total of 157 picks, there were 70 wins, 44.59%. However, each winner returned an average of 146.60 (based upon a 100 unit wager). I believe that would put it at (on a comparative basis to a point spread pick) a 65.36% win rate. Still think you're right?

I had stated very early on that I would increase wager size as the net YTD gain grew. I will continue to increase as the bankroll grows.

See above stats. There is no reason, from a money management standpoint, to wager the same amount continually if you have something that continues to work. This is not contemplated to make beer money. The object is to make a very comfortable living.

This algorithm has been pretty consistent over the past 2 years or so. The below is my summary at the end of last season.

For the few of you who have been reading this thread, I'm sure that you know that I've been an advocate of playing the +130dogs. The stats show me to have been right in doing so. What has muddied the results this year is my piss poor money management. The below stats are taking out the noise produced by the increased wager size. I am going to improve on the money management part next year, and based upon the stats, I look forward to have an absolutely awesome 2015. The +130dogs algorithm is ABSOLUTELY the best money line play in baseball.

The post below, of mine, is the last one from the 2013 season, again summarizing it. The current algorithm for +130dogs has been in effect since 08/03/13.
The number of wagers since then is approaching 800. Maybe not of a significant enough sample size yet......but certainly not small.
Here we are at the end of the year with a loss. However, I'm very much encouraged and will be back next year to show it over a full year's time.
Here's why. Since August 3, 2013 I changed the algorithm to disregard favorites and also tweaked it a bit in other areas. From that time, my out of pocket investment would have required a bank roll of $1,024. My return on that investment was a positive $1,223. Over 88 days of playing and risking $40,653 there was an annualized return of 488%+. I believe that this algo will continue to produce net wins going forward and I will be back next year, with a full year, to show it.
