I am just learning the basics of the game; in fact, I just finished Texas Hold'em for Dummies (excellent read). Any suggestions for the best sites for beginning Hold'Em Players?

they are all scams. but if you must choose between scams, those with the most players should be better.

The Wiz gives his " seal" of approval to the sites that have the best odds of treating you well . If I understand it correctly , he will get involved if you have a legitimate issue as long as you joined the site threw one of his click thru links .

The short answer : I would start with the Wizards advice and preview each one and then make a choice . I would start small with your deposits and then make some small withdraws and see how it goes .

I suggest joining a local pub poker league. Google it.

For the price of a burger and a beer, you can get an excellent live training game.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁

well exactly which ones did he feel were ok.
I would be leary of any online site. I have heard nothing but horror story after horror story.
Everything from slow payment to no payment to out and out cheating,
I have heard stories of guys who are certified profitable grinders in live poker who all
of a sudden can't manage to stay even in online poker.

Google Poker Genius its an EXCELLENT training software tool once you learn how to use it. and it is user frindly.
The 1st 3 days its free trial. Spring for the 70 or so american dollars to buy it its worth every penny.
Its has many features like adjusting the speed of the game like replaying hands....dealing pre flop cards
face up or face down.. replaying entire games you played how the game unfolded that is.
Highly Reccomended.
I will say however that while they have a help page that covers diff subject help via email
is very very slow.

That's unsurprising, because online players are a lot better than live players. Live players get chewed up online if they try to play similar stakes.
