I was at the the 2003 WSOP just like I had been to many before. I railbirded the final event to some extent. But for some reason that year I didn't sweat the final table like I usually did. I was downstairs in the cash games. They had set up a big screen downstairs where all the cashgame players could watch it but I hardly payed attention to it. Had I known it was going to be so historic I would have been upstairs sweating the final table from beginning to end.

I think you are right it is called "Grinders." There was a sad story about one of the guys in that documentary where he runs poker games illegally in an apartment building. The landlord knew what he was doing and locked that poor guy out then took over his business.
