Though not taking US Bets anymore Pinnacle is still around, and still using Blue Chip Software. I checked into this recently as I was looking for some Java Free-Play Practice. Keno has revised pays but is still 97+ %. Video Poker as well. Craps is still good, and correct for Don't Pass wagers. The 0.3% Cash-Back is still availible. There is a "Get-Paid-to-Play" Poker offer, but since I'm USA, no can peek (Login required).

NOTE: I used to have an acct there before UIGEA and closed in Early 2006. Never had a problem.

AFAIK no other sites outside of the pinnacle brand uses Blue-Chip.

I thought the Pinnacle software changed its name to Galewind.

You're right, at least the play-for-fun is galewind (CANADA). Since 2008 it would appear... havent been to Pinn Sports since 2006, just found it again recently.

For non-US players, the Pinnacle sportsbook offers probably the lowest vig on the internet (with BetFair possibly being an exception) at the expense of no bonuses. A great trade-off, in my opinion. The casino offers good odds as well across the board with the cash back feature. Its a real shame they had to leave the US market like so many others.

BetFair uses a system which is probably better for advanced betters but may be no better or worse for casual betters. BetFair also has a 'zero-lounge' of casino games with no house edge which is pretty cool. Obviously no bonuses on these games.

Is anyone still using Pinnacle lately? Reviews would be nice though.

Last I knew pinnaclesports did away with the free games for practice ;(
I too would like to see a review.

I thought this thread was as dead as Marley (Jacob or Bob).
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

Mods - Fosterbrew has a hidden broken image in his post. That is a sign that malicious software will one day be sent from this post. It is a classic hack method.

Edit: I cannot report my own post to alert mods. Can someone report my post?

Got it, thanks.
