It's proof in the flop? Online hold'em looking closer to the flop..

Maybe i doing it wrong. Wizard is right. I can show what i thibk is manipulation of cards in hold'em
by focusing at what I thought was the most important part of any hand. Where it starts from the pocket cards.
I have proof in files of hand histories, but if i took the time I could change the number, and suit of a card.
The position where it was dealt at. The pocket cards is sort of a personal information thing. But the flop is
more of public window to see. Easier to be vertify by players.

Let me try this. I know that the river cards online likely having a ace, king or just the highest card
dealt on board. IF I have a pair thats number is lower then the river card #. A player probable just got the
biggest pair. And why he kept calling my bets all the way to the river. It's not right at all to me. To see
a player calling, and sometimes raising with just a ace, or king in pocket. I do fell they know something
when the highest card is dealt on the river. Or any river card that wins a all in bet.


Flop having 2 cards of the same suit.(10s 3d 7s) Happens more online then at a live table. Tnen I must
look for a 3rd matching suit cause a flush might have just been born.
Also watch for board cards that are dealt like this (refering to the suit of the cards not number) 7d 3h 9d 10h,
7d 9d 3h 10h . If these is whats on board after turn. Then a card matching either the ds,
or hs suit will be dealt as the river card for a flush. Or to just make me worry about it.

Okay this is related to pocket cards.(suit of the card doesn't matter here)
10 8 pocket cards , and 10 5 2 7 8 . I just got a 2 pair with the highest pair
possible. And a lot of times it's just one , or two players left in these hand.
I've thought "whats the odds of a player in these hand with a 9 j, or 10 ". And
I'll bet on the 2 pair, and sure enough the other player has a str8.

Always think about what is dealt on board, and look to make sure the when river
card while it might make your rank better. It has a real low chance of making
another players rank the highest.

If i have a pocket pair. And a card dealt on flop is higher # then the cards in my pair.
I'll go one more card, and if the turn card hasn't improve my position for a 3 of a kind
or into a flush or str8. I'll bet to just to see how strong the other player is. And hope
for a fold. And I will fold on any re-raise or hard bet at the river from player.



Pocket cards j 9.. board cards 8 q 9 9 10 . player with 10 9 has a fullhouse to
beat the straight. Or the other thing is a higher straight if he has j k. Both has
happen more then I win the hand with this type of board cards.


Playing online at this poker site has made me feel like a rabbit in daytime
in a open field. I play almost every tue. and thur. at a local casino in
oklahoma. And the difference is so obvious pertaining to flops. I don't
know why there hasn't been more attention to this. And if the casino's
would look into just the flops dealt online to their own tables. They could
unplug some of these online sites. And bring more players to them.

Side note: I wonder how much money a new players to poker could lose before
noticing something might be wrong? I'm worried that a lot of american money
is going to these little countries. Instead of being spent in our own country.

I wish I could be kinder, but I'm not terribly surprised. You likely play terrible. For the record, a common rule of thumb is that online games are roughly equivalent to live games at 10x the stakes because of the concentration of players into lower limits. That is, a $3-$6 game online is more like a $30-$60 game in your casino.

That partially explains your surprise with people "calling, and sometimes raising with just a ace, or king in pocket." You're going to find people testing you with hands. It's suggestive that you also, "will fold on any re-raise or hard bet at the river from player." It's no surprise that people call you with junk then raise on later streets if you're folding. They don't need overcards, they could call you with lint in their pockets.

You are right about one thing, suited boards happen more often online. In fact, given that a brisk live game deals 30 hands/hour and one online clips along at 90 hands/hour everything happens three times "more often" online. If you see one suited board in three hours at your casino, you're going to see one every hour online.

I hesitate to bash you too much, but some of your examples are awful. They feature very bad holdings for you, and attractive draws for your opponents.

I hesitate even more to fuel your paranoia, but many people maintain complete databases of all hands they play online. Which means that every site is too heavily watched for funny business to go on for long. But it also means you're closely watched too. You will encounter people using heads up displays indicating how many hands you play, how often you fold, etc. Any obvious leak is going to be more dangerous online than live.

I'm not sure what happened to the formatting of your post. I couldn't read all of it, so I'm going to comment on the first number of hands that I could read clearly.

A3 offsuit. This is a horrible hand, and you chose to play it. Flop 37Q. You have bottom pair, with little room to improve, plus there are two suited cards on the board. This is a folding hand.

Pair of 7s. This is a mediocre hand, but a good one to slam people, as long as they aren't slow playing a higher pair. Someone raised pre-flop in front of you, and you should have folded.

97 suited. Another horrible hand that you shouldn't have played. Flop comes K47. No pair for you, and two suited cards not in your suit. With 97 suited, the only thing you are hoping for is a flush, and even then you are hoping for someone else to not have a higher flush. Once the flop came out like this, again, you should have folded. But you shouldn't have seen the flop to begin with.

K7 suited. Very mediocre hand as well, but worth seeing the flop. Flop comes with an AJ6. Now you have four to a flush, but no pairs. You have a drawing hand, and not even the strongest drawing hand possible. The turn brings a 4. You still have the second best drawing hand. At this point, you re-raised, which was stupid.

Pair of Kings. Pair of kings always look nice, but the bottom line is that they will lose to anybody holding an Ace if an ace comes on the board. You're not save looking at the flop or the turn. You have to wait and see if the river comes out. The problem with Aces is that people love to play any two cards as long as one of them is an Ace. You yourself do it. You lost to a pair of Aces, so you only had 2 cards that could save you in the entire deck. This isn't a bad beat, it's an unfortunate circumstance of playing pocket Kings.

Q8 offsuit. Horrible hand, why would you play it? You lost, deservedly.

TJ offsuit. Also not a good hand. You're hoping for a straight, but also hoping nobody has a higher straight, or the same straight. Shouldn't really be played, but worth limping it. Unfortunately the flop is two Kings and a Jack. Now your hand sucks, and you should have thrown it away.

Q8 offsuit. Again, horrible hand. Why are you playing hands just because there is a queen?

AQ offsuit. Not a bad hand to start with. The flop comes out with 3 suited cards, none in your suit. You are last to act. Everybody checks in front of you. You should have bet. You more than likely would have driven everybody off the hand. If not, you at least know they have something. You later lost, but you made a bad move in checking this hand.

Q7 offsuit. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Quit playing queens. Do you like looking at the pictures?

KT offsuit. Ok to limp in with, but someone ahead of you raises all-in. You should figure them for a strong hand, and there's no reason for you to call with this meager holding.

96 offsuit. I can't even begin to explain why this is a horrible hand. Why you would see the flop is beyond me. Further, the flop comes Q43. You have almost no chance, and you should be folding.

Based on just those hands, I can only say that you are not playing well. However, the real problem that I see with you is that you are analyzing the play of the hands AFTER the hand has been played. Your comments include all kinds of things like the other player could only make his hand on the river. The problem is, at the time you are playing, you do not know this. You should be playing your hands more intelligently from the outset. Looking at hands in hindsight will always raise questions as to why would a person raise with a particular hand, or call with a particular hand, or check with a particular hand. But in hindsight, none of that matters, as the hand is already decided.

There are plenty of people who believe in "luck". I have a friend who always plays J5 (suited or unsuited) because he believes that hand is lucky for him. He will chase all the way to the river hoping for at least a pair. I've seen him lose with it more times than not, but he always insists that he always wins with it.

It may seem odd to you that people are calling or raising with weird hands, but I've seen people do similar things in brick and mortar card rooms. I, myself, have often raised when under the gun with 72 offsuit. I do it for effect. I don't expect to win the hand, but it's awesome when the flop comes out with two 2's, and everybody is just shocked by my actions. It also helps me set up the fact that I can later raise, and people will assume I have a crappy hand, and thus my pocket Aces takes them all down.

My advice to you is to start playing better. Don't play every single two cards you have, because it is ruining you. None of the hands I looked at were bad beats at all. Once you start playing only premium hands, then start analyzing people's playing styles after the fact. That will allow you to determine who is the bad player and who are the good players. Once you know that, and once you are only playing premium hands, then you will start doing a lot better.

Oy! As I recall you posted gigantic log files a few months ago. If I remember correctly, here is what I told you about the scientific method for making a claim of cheating, and will tell you again.

1. Develop a hypothesis. For example, the flop contains two different suits more or less often than expectations in a fair game. By the way, the probability of 3 suits in the flop is 39.76%, 2 suits is 55.06%, and 1 suit is 5.18%.

2. Gather evidence. In the case of the above hypothesis, keep a tally of how often 1, 2 and 3 suits are represented in the flop. I should note there may be a slight bias because some flops will never be seen.

3. Analyze the evidence to see how well it fits the hypothesis. In this case I would determine where the observed results fall on the Gaussian curve.

I'm not quite sure what the hypothesis is in this case exactly, but something to do with the suits and the flop. There is certainly a big log file of evidence, but it is rather rude to just copy and paste that into a post without summarizing it somehow. If you do steps 1 and 2 properly, I can help with step 3. A skeptic would still probably claim you reversed steps 1 and 2, which would ruin your case.

Just a quick note to say that I fixed it. It doesn't happen often, but when the turn card is the Ten of Diamonds, displayed as "[Td]", the forum software interprets that as the opening tag of a table cell. Since there is no matching [/td] tag, it messes up the display.

The solution is to escape the brackets so that '[Td]' becomes '[[]Td[]]'.

Also, the same thing happens with the Ten of Hearts: '[Th]' is interpreted as the opening tag of a table header cell.

I'm happy to entertain that topic too. If a solid case can be made, I'll add the casino to my blacklist.

Based on the pocket cards list, the value of the expected deals should be 14 (pair of 8s). His works out to be 13.4 (which is not significant significant given the number of deals). He should have 29 suited pocket cards. He received 30. He should be dealt 7.18 pairs. He was dealt 8.

Certainly the cards aren't great, but not too much out of the ordinary.
