I just finished a first draft of my Slotland review. Please by my guinea pigs and check it out.

As always, I welcome questions, comments, and especially corrections.

The question for the poll is would you play at Slotland?

Wizard,

Everything looks pretty good with the Review, and I can say there is no way I would play at Slotland. If the Progressive hitting is based on hitting a Royal Flush betting $10 on Video Poker or something like being dealt three Blackjacks in the other game, but is simultaneously not based on a random deal of the cards, then how can the cards be trusted in any other way?

+1
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

I also agree with the above posters.

But you clearly disclosed the issues at hand with the jackpots at least. And given the paybacks of the rest of the games assuming fair decks, they are making money. Also love the pic!

Well, if the jackpot is not a fair representation , when you would have had 3 BJ on the same hand, do you get 2Bj and a 20, or what ?
Of course if the jackpot is rigged, even when posted somewhere, I am sure everything else is just fine ! ! !

Or maybe is the first hand is a BJ, then the next hand must include a 6 ! Why Not ?

And they don't even need a gun to rob the chumps. Ain't the internet wonderful !

NO!

Buzz has a point. Does it detail anywhere what would happen if the RNG for the poker hand determined that you were to get a Royal, but the RNG for the jackpot said no, what happens next?

Oh, wait. BE your guinea pig. OK. I can do that.

The review is fine. Good enough to let us know we should stay the hell away!

No, they don't detail anywhere what would happen. They probably just skip to any other outcome.

There are places where that will get a man killed. :(

Thanks for the slotland review. Does this mean slotland/winaday is off your blacklist now?

The other concern I have with the way that Progressive works is that the player has no way of knowing that this second-dealing (which is what must happen to avoid Royals that would otherwise occur naturally on the $10 bet) isn't occurring on the lower denomination games. Is there any way to know that the second dealing is conditional on bet amount rather than programmed into all games, and, if not, should a player not assume that the pay tables presented on the Video Poker games would be better to have the Royal Flush excluded?
