You records show you won a whopping $1500 since you moved to Vegas. What you failed to mention anywhere is what your expenses for the year were. You initially thought you'd spend $$16,000 so you must have dropped 20% of your BR. Another such year will be a disaster.
I try to keep my expenses under 5% of my portfolio. That way, each year, it's actually bigger than the year before. I can keep this up for the rest of my life, without ever touching my SS or the pension I get starting at 60.

The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Ive talked about expenses. Ive actually managed it better than my initial estimates, mostly because I've had to drive a lot less than i thought since when I got here I realized a majority of the casinos charge for parking and I decided I wouldnt pay the parking fees so I found the free parking ones and walked A LOT more than i initially planned. This has probably led to the difficulty in getting hours in, but it id what it is.

Ive had about 14k so far in expenses, but I won about 4.5k through FIFA local tournies. My bankroll is around 49k at this point. Lets not forget that Ive run badly in blackjack since i been here. 235 hours at about a 50 n hour hourly rate on avg should have net me at least 12k, which would be covering all my expenses give or take. Still not enough hours to grow my bankroll so I need to fix that issue. Im probably going to find a side job to net me 50-100 a day soon to take care of that issue, while being able to play like i did back home rent free. I really need to crank up the hours, but thats easier said than done.
Any private business open to the PUBLIC (ie. droned out casinos) cannot have a criminal trespass enforced against an individual without GOOD CAUSE (Disruptive or Disorderly conduct). You will never go to prison for being thrown out of a casino for legal advantage play and then returning because it's simply unconstitutional 'as applied' to the individual. 'As applied' constitutional issues must FIRST be raised in DISTRICT COURT (trial court) to have it thrown out. You CANNOT raise it on APPEAL This is the best kept secret in the world of casinos not just in Vegas but everywhere in the country. Thank me later.

It would be fairly easy to earn free parking and free food. Then you could play more and walk less. I like the health aspects of your plan better though.

Don't get on him until he starts talking about himself in the third person. He's getting us prepped for another retired life success story. Probably after consuming the Dollar Store ribeye in the freezer. He'll be back in a minute to explain. That shit cooks quick dontcha-know.🙄🤐😃

I just have to come in here and LOL at ZK's claim to be the "greatest card counter of all time."

I have found -- in many and diverse aspects of life -- that the more someone insists how good he is at something, the worse he is at it.

The real best people in any field tend to be humble and self-deprecating. This is true in every field I can think of, especially those involving intellectual capability.

As our great president would say, this whole thread is SAD!

+43,399 after 1066 hours with around a $175-200$ average bet says you're wrong. The problem is I actually tell the truth about my results, which 99% of counters don't on any of these forums and podcasts. Either all counters lose their shirt and are not embarrassed to tell their results because they simply didn't put any effort in so it doesn't matter to them or you got people who either straight out lie about their results or take horrible records regarding their play. I'm neither of those. I'm honest and take accurate notes of my play.

The past year or 235 hours? Let me know if you know the difference. Then let me know if 235 hours means anything in terms of the long run. That will tell me about your education regarding AP. Then tell me how much I'm up after 1066 hours. Then tell me if I played pitch games or the harder to play shoe games? Then tell me had I had a bigger bankroll and could use a higher bet size, how much would I be up? Imagine I was betting 2x500? Imagine I played pitch games? Damn Im good.

Next.

I know the law better than anyone in this city. I'll finish what Ken Uston started decades ago. I'm not leaving this town until there's a court decision in my favor.

Uston left no unfinished business in Las Vegas or Nevada. The courts all the way up to the Nevada supreme court ruled against him, solidifying the protectionism the Nevada courts have had for the industry responsible for most of the states revenue for nearly a century. You aren't going to change that.

And as someone who played Atlantic City both before and after the changes resulting from the Uston court cases, you don't want those kind of outcomes in Las Vegas. Of the two models, Atlantic City limited as to protecting their games, so forced to offer inferior games, vs Nevada allowed to protect it's games by barring players, you want the Nevada/Las Vegas model.

None of the people on here have ever been an internationally ranked player in anything let alone 2nd in the world or quarter finalist of anything i bet. Not to mention ive had free flights and accomodation around the world just to play FIFA.

Son of SOOPOO, my son obviously and a non active forum member, has won the world crossword puzzle championship as a junior I think five times. As an adult he has come in as high as third place. I personally have won many citywide three point shooting contests. I've had free flights and accommodation more times than I can count to lecture on anesthesia related topics.

You do apparently have the mind and skills to succeed as your FIFA results show. You just need a different attitude if you want to succeed at what the rest of us call life.

I’ll add to it. There is up to 4 pickup games going at the UNLV student rec center everyday starting at 6AM. Probably hard to get a dedicated game going, but might work for you guys. I know a guy who says Floyd Mayweather shows up there occasionally to play. What could go wrong?

I'm on Sunset and Green Valley. Barleys casino and Brewery is in the next shopping center.
I'm not familiar with your suggestions. There is a Timbers nearby, good bar food but not a brewery.

Without getting into too many details on your location, Barleys is in the middle of the 2. Barleys is one of Vegas’s oldest breweries and still brews some quality beers including their Strawberry Hefe. The beers are better than Ellis Island as a casino/brewery. Lovelady is downtown on Water St and is one of my favorite Vegas breweries. They also brew the Sin City beers you see on the strip.

Far too many details on beer but I could talk it all day. Just amazing how the Vegas beer scene has grown in the past 5 years. Whatever is decided there are many options for side trips for anyone from out of town who loves craft beer.

Most of the trespass stories I hear about in my neck of the woods are for hygiene reasons. They claim the real reason is counting, but I don't know... All the stories are from players and it would not surprise me if a couple of the characters in question skipped the shower for a couple of days. Still, a shower sounds like a time out offence, not a trespass.

Zcore... Do you have any relevant stories you are willing to share?

I’m not a lawyer and I don’t understand all that stuff to a T. Like what legally constitutes a trespass, regular back off, etc. But from what I’ve read, it doesn’t seem like trespassing for CC is just a bluff. What makes them a bluff (and presumably have nothing to back it up)?

The State of Nevada v. Annette Wilkinson was the initial case. It was then appealed to the 8th circuit court and has legal standing to date since nothing else has gone against it since.

To summarize the decision. It is unconstitutional for a casino to trespass anyone in Nevada unless they are being disorderly or showing some kind of misconduct. They also have to be given the opportunity to leave. If you're not causing any misconduct they cant touch you, at least not legally.

For a casino to trespass you, it would also contradict and violate the current Nevada statute that casinos have inside on their own premises that you can see on their walls, which is NRS 463.0129, which states that access of the public to a gaming establishment cannot be RESTRICTED in any way. The statute does say it does not limit the casinos ability to 'exclude' you for any reason, but that is a backoff and not a 'trespass'.

The whole NRS statute is unconstitutional in itself anyway because it is void for vagueness and just because a statute exists doesnt mean you have to obey it if it is unconstitutional. It would just be dismissed in court.

A whole lot of judges consider the Constitution a worthless piece of outdated paper that has not kept with the times. Why do you want to get tied up in a snake pit?

Lower level court judges you mean, not the Supreme Court justices. Also any judge that doesnt follow the Constitution can be held for treason and sent to prison regardless of what they think about it. They also are not allowed to 'interpret' any part of the Constitution because all of the interpretations were already done by our founding fathers in the Federalist Papers and Madisons Notes. You must be talking about Bush when he stated that ridiculous statement.

The Constitution is only as good as the citizens educated well enough to understand it and enforce it against treasonous judges and government and thats the problem. No one is educated enough anymore so it is just a 'piece of paper', but doesnt mean it doesnt have any power anymore.

The government and judges are allowed to get away with their treasonous acts because the people today are a bunch of droned out sheep that believe the government acts in theit best interests and they would never take advantage of us. They also feel like nothing is 'worth it' or worth it to fight anythibg. The Constitution is the doctrine of this country and where the government gets its very own power from. Funny how our very own former President claims it's just a 'piece of paper'. Should tell you all you need to know about the government's agenda

Dont you people realize that engaging ZK in this nonsense just helps the casinos keep him from fulfilling his destiny as the World's Greatest Counter.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

You are drawing the wrong conclusion from the Wilkinson case. The ruling never said that it was unconstitutional for a casino to trespass a patron. A more recent ruling in 2016, Slade vs Caesars, I believe it was the Paris property, confirms that a casino has the right to evict patrons for any reason. In the Slade case, litigated by Bob Nersesian, the District court ruled against Dr. Slade and the ruling was appealed to the Nevada Supreme Court, who by a 4-3 ruling said that "any gaming establishment has the right to exclude any person from gaming activities or eject any person from the premises for any reason".

The part of that earlier Wilkinson case from the 70's that was a setback for the casino's was that the court basically said was in the absence of a crime or disturbance, the patron must be given the opportunity to leave before being arrested.

What that essentially meant was you could be asked to leave and leave. Then the next day you could return again and if asked to leave again, you had to again be given the opportunity to leave. So yes, the casino's in Nevada mislead patrons all these years by telling them they would be arrested if they returned. The Wilkinson case meant that was an idle threat.

While the more recent Slade case did not address this "must be given the opportunity to leave" ruling, it appears to have thrown that situation into uncertainty. I would rethink using the 40 year old Wilkinson case as the basis of a legal fight.

You are going to say you must be given the right to leave and the casino is going to say they have the right to exclude you. Regardless of any lower court rulings, the final decision would be made by the Nevada Supreme court, with the same 'casino friendly' make-up that just 18 months ago ruled in favor of the casino industry.

The only thing the Wilkinson case may be good for is if you were to find yourself in a situation where a casino was detaining or arresting you, based on the premise that you had earlier been trespassed, you might be able to mention the Wilkinson case as a way to get yourself out the door. But to base a case on a 40 year ruling that a more recent ruling has thrown into uncertainty, isn't a sound legal challenge.

Read your own post again and realize you told me nothing new or anything i didnt know before. I know about the Slade case as someone on the forum mentioned that to me. You realize the Slade case says nothing about the ability to trespass you right. The right to exclude doesnt mean the right to trespass you from ever entering again, those are two different terminolgies. It just gives them the right to back you off. Proof of this is the current NRS statute that I cited above that no gaming establishment may RESTRICT the public from entering their establishment for any reason.

Glad I could clear up the bluff once again. By the way, Paris already 'trespassed' me twice lol. So much for the ability to trespass you, why didnt they arrest me? Oh wait, they cant. And oh wait, no police was ever present at the time of the first trespass. And oh wait no trespass act was read to me. And guess what? They will never be able to have the police present in time because i play short sessions and there wont be enough time for them to show up. And oh wait, good luck backrooming me for a non crime. And oh wait, I dont park at paris either, good luck tracking me to my car. LOL.
