Back in action. Just came back from Mt Airy in the Poconos, PA. This is a nice looking casino. It's larger than Valley Forge, but smaller than Parx or some of the other casinos in PA. It boasts a fair amount of slot machines, however I found a limited selection of slots that I particularly like. Also, there is a very limited number of video poker machines. The payouts are quite challenging as I scan the machines. Paytables determine whether I'll go for the video poker machines. Last thing I want is to get sucked into a vacuum machine if you know what I mean. I did not see Double Down Stud, the newer 50 or 100 draw VP, or triple line 3X,4X,5X slot. As such, my slot machine forays were limited. I was tired and I didn't want to spend the money on a machine that didn't give me any intrigue or entertainment value.

Started off with the Million Dollar Penny machine. Ate a $20 bill playing max bet, but rallied back to hit a 2400 penny pot. Cashed out my winnings and proceeded with the hunt. Went to a VP triple play machine. Gave it a little love. Won the next 3 draws and proceeded to give it back. Netted a quarter? Went to this flashing light any 7 machine. Watched it eat $6 until I hit the bonus 15 spins. 10 spins go by without any payout. What the hell man?! Last 5 spins give me back the $6 it ate. This is crap; left asap.

Off to dinner. There are a couple of restaurant options here. Guy Fieri has a branded restaurant, but bbq is not my thing tonight. Feeling some indigestion. Their breakfast burrito is the best and seemingly only option worth trying. There is an asian noodle place which seems moderately priced. The buffet option is too much for me right now. Gambling with indigestion is not a good thing. Il Mulino's is their Italian steakhouse. The menu is decent, but I find the food to be a bit under seasoned. Lobster bisque was ehhh. Casserole dish was ehhh. Good portion size though and nice crisp on the food. Everyone else had steak which was cooked beautifully I have to say. Seafood pasta was mildly tempting, but my stomach just wasn't having it.

Surprisingly moderately busy. Must be a local or traveling crowd as the parking lot was packed. I was VERY HAPPY with my room. I got a nice suite. Thanks for the upgrade! Slept like a baby. Huge living room. Big bathroom with tub, walk in shower, separate toilet partition. Mini-bar is fully stocked, but mostly alchohol and few snacks. Bed had the right firmness. Surprised to see the maid knocking shortly after entering. However, her heavy accent meant I could barely understand what she was asking. She kept saying, "Do you want twins?" I'm like, what??? "Twins. To help you sleep." (I'm thinking, strippers/massage? Shakes internal head, can't be.) Shows me a list of rooms with signatures. Ughhh, no thank you. "Ok, here are some chocolates." Grabs a stack of really good mint and dark chocolates and hands them to me. "Thank you." Mhhhh chocolate. I think she was trying to offer me an extra comforter....?

Off to the craps tables. Hello Lady Luck. Can we be friends? Big Italian is yelling "ZUMBA YOOOO!" Every seems to be happy and even the dealers are calling "ZUMBA YOOOO!" Ok, I want to join the party. "ZUMBA YOOO!!!" Bought in at the only craps table min bet $5. Shooter hit like 10 points. Table was raking it in. I was however betting very conservatively. Perhaps too conservatively, but how does one know Lady Luck will be your friend? I could have went across, but I didn't want a quick 7-out to ruin it. I could have pressed my bets more aggressively, but I wanted to take it easy. The guy rolled for 30+ minutes. My strategy, multiple come bets with 1-2X odds. The latter only progressing after building up a nice set of wins for my bankroll. Doubled my bankroll, and started to increase my odds to 2X, but then the shooter started getting erratic. Erratic defined by throwing dice off the table, hitting chips with dice, not consistently using his trade mark line after every roll, etc. 7 shooter out. Good roll, but I know I should have pressed earlier. Maybe I should have started with 2X odds and worked up to 3X or 4X. For all the times people started to buyin by throwing wads on the table or every time the dice flew out, I figured the 7 would show its nasty face. Took awhile. ZUMBA YOOOO it is.

Thank goodness for Starbucks. Cup of coffee for the road. Till next time Mt Airy. Oh by the way, for the action I was throwing down, which was low roller-esq, really no comp dollars? Talk about being under-rated at the table. I earned more playing slots and wagering less.

Even if your not sure what she said.
When she said "want twins"
I gotta say how much?
She says 'free', tell her to bring them ASAP.
If you don't like the looks of whatever shows up, well
Send it back to the kitchen....
Youuuuuu MIGHT be a 'rascal' if.......(nevermind ;-)...2F
