Apparently there is a woman showing how it is done in Macau.

The article [see link] says casinos actually fear this woman. How many male APs strike fear in the hearts of the house Suits? Maybe one, initials J.G. ?

PS: elsewhere I note it is claimed she is *not* a VIP or whale

Not many ways to attack Baccarat. If she was doing anything im sure it would be noticed by now. From the article it implies shes booked several sessions. Just a ploppy on a heater who bets big enough to be on top of thier radar.

she is a world-class Texas Hold'em Poker player.

in the news, it didn't say she won by Bac.

...she is a world-class Texas Hold'em Poker player...

This is what would give me pause for concern if I was a casino employee. Anyone who gets that good in poker knows how to figure other games out. I'd watch her like a hawk to figure her game, figuring anything I lost to her in the meantime was a consultant fee.

she couldn't be hurting them by winning in a poker room, so she has indeed branched out it seems

Such a vague article. They dont tell which games she won at. Mystery woman... could it be Cheung Yin Sun with another disguise? lol This mystery woman is probably edge sorting... and if she is, shame on the casinos again for not figuring it out and stopping her play.

The Wall Street Journal has an article on this lady today. I'm providing the URL but it is behind a pay wall.

The article is suggesting the woman is fictional. Apparently Sands COO Goldstein may have just made her up in an investor conference call to help explain bad numbers. Or he may have been repeating what he'd heard without confirming it - some junior folk also trying 'to explain it'. That she exists is considered a long shot by those interviewed in the business in Macau.

The Macau operation had only 'an 18% hold' on table games for the period with the bad numbers - evidently pretty lame.
