$15/$25 Craps table debut, odds bets

I'm working on my debut $15 table strategy for the DP/PL. After the DP odds bet loses 1 time, I switch sides to the PL until a 7-out.
I'm trying to throw in a bit of 3X, 4X, 5X betting on the PL odds and 6X odds on the DP.

I've grown a bit tired of trying to win from the right side when hot shooters rarely arrive and the point 7-outs won't stop and I wind up 25 units behind. If I bet the dark side I would have been 25 units ahead. Since hot shooters ruin darksiders, I'm trying to split the field by switching sides after one odds loss. I could make it two odds losses, I may change my mind later.

If I'm on Bubble Craps with 2X Max Odds, I'll have an $18 line bet with $36 Don't odds, or $18, $24, $30 odds on the PL. A 15 bet buy-in would be $810 ($54 x 15).
If I'm on a real table with 3X, 4X, 5X odds, I'll have a $15 line bet with $90 Don't odds, or $45, $60, $75 odds on the PL. A 15 bet buy-in would be $1,575 ($105 x 15).

I asked if a 2nd craps table opened up and I was told it closed before I arrived and it was a $25 table. I couldn't get anybody who knew what the maximum bet was: $2,000 or $3,000 or more.

If I'm on Bubble Craps with 2X Max Odds, I'll have a $30 line bet with $60 Don't odds, or $30, $40, $50 odds on the PL. If I max out the line bet maximum, I could move over to the craps table and pick up where I left off at 2X Max Odds. A 15 bet buy-in would be $1350 ($90 x 15).
If I'm at a real table with 3X, 4X, 5X odds, I'll have a $30 line bet with $180 Don't odds, or $90, $120, $150 odds on the PL. A 15 bet buy-in would be $3,150 ($210 x 15).

I've had luck playing 3X odds on WinCraps before (beginner's luck) so I'd bet $20 on the line with $60 on the Don't odds, or $30, $40, $50 odds on the PL. A 15 bet buy-in would be $1,200 ($80 x 15).

"I'm trying to split the field by switching sides after one odds loss"

this is an excellent exercise for anyone who thinks there is such a thing as a table that is hot or cold. Not a table that *was* but a table that *is* hot or cold. If switching worked, there would be craps player-billionaires all over the world

Plus, for a bit of my own silly superstition, the dice happen to hate side switchers. I never switch sides during a session.

beware

Why not consider playing both sides simultaneously, a la hedging using the DPL + odds as a base starting position? We all are aware that the dark side is going to win more often than point conversions, but during any given hand, numbers will be thrown prior to point resolution. I personally believe that most sessions will trend one way or the other and there are going to be players that will occasionally have hands that last beyond the 4-5 tosses. one can be observant and play accordingly. It is not voodoo or magic. I, like others at the table, am still guessing, but, for me, it has worked more often than not.

When a tourist rolls up and doesn't even know the rules of the game and establishes a point of 10 and spends the next 26 rolls not hitting it, but hits the 6 and 8 six times each, it would have been a better bet to bet the 6 & 8 instead of the PL.

As for switching sides: losing a bunch of PL odds bets then switching to the DP and then having a monster roll, the dice jpg is accurate.

Whack-A-Mole System for Craps Box Numbers

Whack-A-Mole System for Craps Box Numbers (there must be another name, but dice is just another name for a way to lose)
Turning $360 to $3685 - Casino Quest - YouTube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vglkoE9GnA4

$30 on the 4 & 10; $60 on the 5 & 9; $90 on the 6 & 8 = $360 buy-in per shooter, 5-10X+ buy-in preferred

If a number hits, move the bet to its sister number
If the sister number hits, move the bet to the most inside number left, split if both of those are available.
If you get all 6 numbers, count your winnings and rebet the $360 across 6 numbers.
Yes you can win twice in one hand and it could make you over $3K.

$90 on the 6 pays $105, move the $90 bet to the 8.
$180 on the 8 pays $210, split $90 to the 5 & 9 each.
$150 on the 5 pays $210, move the $150 to the 9
$300 on the 9 pays $420, move $150 to the 4 & 10 each.
$180 on the 4 pays $351, move the $180 to the 10
$360 on the 10 pays $702. Rebet all box numbers as before.
Total win is $1,998 Possible to raise bets to next level on each 6 point win.
It may pay different depending on how numbers roll and bets move, but you always have $360 on the felt.

So, it looks like the dice know which number to show, the sequence, and the avoidance of a 7 out. Do you suppose that rather than DI/DC, mind control of inanimate objects is at play here? Is there a school for this? I might be willing to fund a web site and seminars and advertising. One other thing, how many times in a row can one produce this gambit, and can one convert it to roulette too?

That's a lot of work to transcribe the session! Thanks for doing that. (I can't say I'm going to follow it all in detail, though.)

New Video BJ Game adds session points

PROCEED WITH CAUTION – Casino Player Magazine | Strictly Slots Magazine | Casino Gambling Tips
https://www.casinocenter.com/proceed-with-caution-2/

There's a new Blackjack game at my casino. It's buried in a multigame bank of machines that just arrived. The other half of the bank of machines is out of service because they didn't have a license according to the error screen. This version of video blackjack pays 2 for 1 on BJ's and 6 card 21 or less also automatically wins. Doubling is only allowed on 10 or 11, not soft numbers. Split only once, no doubling on splits. Only one card on split aces. There's a 5 coin betting limit, because there's plenty of video poker to choose from here. I thought I'd bet 2 coins or 4 coins in hopes of getting paid correctly for a BJ, but I was wrong. The guy next to me was playing Cleopatra Keno and the noise was just unnerving. So this BJ game seems like a real loser from the HA standpoint. But in the short term, I'm putting in $40 and betting $2; when I get to $46 I raise my bet to $4; when I get to $80, I change the denom from $1 to $2 and my credits change from 80 to 40 and I repeat. Now I could play until I get to 100 credits and then change the denom to $5 and start over at 40 credits again. But tonight I stayed at $2 denom and betting 4 credits and racked it up to 150 credits! I paused for a moment to think about whether I should cash-out, I didn't, and the machine took me down to $0 ASAP. I lowered my bets along the way, but the machine was on a revenge tour. I racked up nearly $40 in session points in 2 hours, but 50% of them disappeared by the time I got to the kiosk. It was $3 per point before the discount.
I took a walk, and got a soda and came back to a different machine. It ate my 2nd $40 pretty quick, within 90 session points, so I put in another $40. I had better luck this time and repeated what happened the first time and racked it up to $300, then cashed out for closing time. I'm sure I played over $14K worth of coin-in in less than 3 hours, and it was good enough to nearly double my coin-in for all time (bubble craps is such a slow game in comparison), and my tier advanced, but my tier points reset to zero twice a year and that means again in a few weeks. I get to keep my rewards points good for a Smashburger meal, and this game can get me there on each trip if they don't tighten it down like all new games get tightened down within a month.
If I can turn $40 into $750 soon, I could get a buy-in on a real $15 BJ table.

I came back the next day and lost 5x $40 buy-ins. The first two $40 buy-ins lasted me 2 hours and added up to 2,000 session points, 1,000 tier points, which I will need in the second half of this year to keep my tier 2nd from bottom. If I was winning like expected, I just need 80,000 session points, 40,000 tier points, to get to the 3rd from bottom tier. I almost thought that would be possible given my beginner's luck the previous night, but that's all it was. I'm quitting this game because of continued losses. If I can win on bubble craps enough to get a buy-in on a $15 table (craps or BJ), I'll have to get table points for my meals & tiers. I may sneak in a session or two on the VBJ game to get points twice a year for the tier.

I thought about playing video poker for a $20 meal, I'd have to coin in $12K to get $20, and coin-in $24K to get $20 of free play. At $1.25 per spin on a quarter machine, that'd be 9600 spins for a $20 meal and 19,200 spins for the $20 free play. I'd do so much better on video BJ to get points where I can get 2K to 4K of points ($20-$40 in food points or $10-$20 in free play) in 2-4 hours.

Please remember that "Blackjack pays 2 for 1" is an even money award when restated in "to 1" terms.

My latest few sessions on the newly moved VBJ machine have been complete disasters. I think I'm done with this machine, even if playing for points. Last night I put in $40 for $2 hands and I lost it all in 41 hands. So that'd be 10 wins, 30 losses and 1 tie, or numbers to that effect. I lost 20 bets in the difference. Even my home game isn't that mad, consistently. Now I could play VP on the same machine and have a much better time and I have. But something is tightened like a one armed bandit in the VBJ section.
